The Difference Between a Poor Volleyball Team

and a Good Volleyball Team.

This is a story of the long spoons. A volleyball player asks an Angel. What is the difference between a poor volleyball team and a good volleyball team?

The angel takes the volleyball player to a room. The Angel says "This room contains players with different degrees of talent, mostly ordinary and a few with exceptional talents. Their teams lose many more matches than they win." The door opens and the players each have six-foot-long spoons. There is a big pot of wonderful soup in the center, but no one can eat, so they are fighting with the spoons and are angry.

The angel takes the volleyball player to another room. The Angel says "This room contains volleyball players that also have different degrees of talents, mostly ordinary and a few with exceptional talents. Their teams always play great defense and win many more matches than they lose." The door opens and in the room the players have the same six-foot-long spoons and a big pot of wonderful soup in the center of the room. In this room the players are all happy and are not fighting because they are using their spoons to feed each other.

So it is in our lives. If you don't know what to do, do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
